About Me
I approach my practice with warmth, humor, and curiosity toward whatever is discovered. In therapy, I can help you access your inner resources and teach you ways to manage stress, relationships and difficult emotions, with non-judgment, compassion and my clinical expertise.
As a therapist, mother, artist and fellow human, I trust in the creative process of transformation, non-linear and incremental. I see folks individually, in couples and groups, offering paths to come home to their true selves and find freedom, in particularly from food and weight obsession. Bringing 15 years of clinical experience in a variety of settings, plus my lived experience of recovery from an eating disorder, I understand the nonlinear nature of change, with reverence and compassion.
I draws upon expressive arts, attachment theory, parts work, mindfulness and somatic practices for healing. My previous career as a performing artist, in theater and dance, informs how I shows up in the world; trusting the emergent and creative process.
